Vertebroplasty Device:

The set consists of :

1. Cement Gun
2. Special Vertebroplasty Needle
3. Aspiration Cannula
4. Connecting Hose

Specifications:

* Transparent Polycarbonate Gun for clear visibility
* Holds 12 ml of Bone Cement for complete & Controlled-multiple filling
* Induced Torsion while cement injection is less than 7 %, so no risk of Monomer & Polymer seperation.
* Cement injected in linear motion while the gun rotates clockwise for accurate control
* Verteboplasty needle has an ideal 2.8 mm outer diameter & the length is 15 cm, makes it ideal for treaing Lumbar & Lower Thoracic Vertebrae
* Needle hand is designed to fit into the palm during insertion & the width of the hand makes it easy to push down on the vertebrae by hand pressure where possible. This gives a good feel of the direction and Bone contact.
* CT extension hose can rotate and extend in any direction for ease of use & protection when used under CT guidance.
* Gun rotation knob breaks if the torsion force in creases beyond 70 % to prevent monomer & polymer seperation. The torsion force may increase, if there is obstruction to the cement flow.
* The only gun designed for use with both low and medium viscosity cement
* The gun can be used to inject Tricalcium Phosphate bone Cement.

* Cervical -Anterolateral
* Thoraci -Transpedicular, Possibly Intercostovertbral
* Lumbar -Transpedicular, Possibly Posterolateral

Note: Vertebroplasty is only a Palliative treatment
